If you are headed to a new school, try to arrange a visit a week in advance before classes begin. This will put you more at ease as you become familiar with your new surroundings.

Plan to buy your back to school supplies at least one to two weeks in advance. Not only will you get the best bargains during this period but if you happen to forget a few items, you have plenty of time before the first day of school to obtain them.

Make sure you have a copy of personal information just in case there are questions. This should include updated immunization records, date of birth record, social security card and proof of residency.

Everyone loves new clothes...great clothes are instant gratifications. Therefore, wear what makes you feel good as long as they are within the standards allowed by your school.
