Retailers of back to school sales will soon be able to tell whether consumers spent as much money on back to school supplies as predicted.
A major survey asked approximately 10,000 consumers about their back to school shopping behavior. Those with children said that they will spend about $60 on back to school supplies. The majority of their back to school shopping will consist of back to school clothing and electronics.
